Hotel Heidelberger Hof

Good location and friendly staff. The pillows were terrible, made of some weird foam. Asked for new one but they still were very uncomfortable. Breakfast was also bad, eggs were cold and there was almost none left.

Overall, this is a very nice hotel, I was pleasantly surprised. It was about a 20 minute walk from the main train station, but right in the heart of the shopping district so there was plenty of shopping and restaurants. When I arrived, which was before check-in, they were able to get me into a room which I greatly appreciated, however, they were doing maintenance on my floor so I had to step over their tools and such which could easily been a tripping hazard. The staff was very friendly though. The room was comfortable although I would recommend having curtains on the windows as the blind they had on there didn't keep out the lights from outside.

What a quaint old hotel, so close to everything, yet just enough off the beaten path to be nice and quiet. It is a short walk to the Hauptstraße and close to the castle as well. The staff was wonderful. Secure vehicle parking was provided free a very short distance away. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Clean and a short walk to the action in town. The parking garage is around the corner from the hotel (though you do have to pay for it).
