Overnight stop in lovely spot.
Very enjoyable overnight stop. Nice room with all you'd want but some character too. The hotel is ideally located 50 metres back from the majestic Rhine scenery, also walking distance from the Bahnhof and lots of good restaurants close by. I thought that the Staff dealt well with the Covid rules, though my German was tested! Nice breakfast included. Parking could be an irritant - more in terms of finding a spot on such a nice sunny day than the reasonable cost. I cycled past this hotel last year travelling London to Salzburg - it would have worked very well for an overnight bicycle stop too.

Excellent city and location to explore the Rhine!
The hotel’s location couldn’t be better when traveling by ferry! Excellent views of the Rhine and ferries. The hotel was clean, old, adequate for a base to explore the Rhine. Breakfast was good. There is no AC and we did ask for/received a fan for the our 2nd night.

We could not fault the hotel for friendliness, service or cleanliness and the breakfast, which is included in the price, was to die for. Comparable hotels did not include breakfast. We stayed 3 nights and the room was serviced every day. The hotel is in an ideal location for accessing everything. Wi Fi was included which was helpful as we are from overseas and have not got the international roaming perfected. There was no kettle to make a cup of tea however.
