Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch

Lovely room and hotel. Service during the stay was the only let down but did have a big impact. no attempt made to ensure you feel welcome or that you have everything you need. A very transaction experience and almost as if they do not really want to help you.

Check in ready on time, room was decent size with brilliant black out curtains and good a/c. Payment for room was taken at same time as deposit during check in, despite room being already paid for in advance. I only noticed when checking online banking later in the day. When I went to reception the next day to have it corrected, the man wasn’t very apologetic, which I was surprised and disappointed with. Swimming pool is perfect size and very relaxing, but there was a strong smell of damp. The power tap in the pool and also steam room was out of order when we visited.

Lovely hotel and rooms, breakfast was the only let down.

You charged me £239 when the rate should only have been £192 Their was no hot water all morning as the boiler was down When I asked for compensation the receptionist said NO because I had booked through you !! Please compensate us for too high price and no hot shower
