Ecopackers Hostel Machu Picchu

Front desk was friendly but bar / breakfast staff was terrible. She lay on a beanbag chair and watched TV. Never even asked if we needed anything. Room smelled, beds soft and sagged, was noisy as it is right beside train tracks and the bar noise goes right down the hallways. Would not stay here again.

Decent hostel in Aguas Calientes, just what I needed for a quick 1-night stay after Machu Picchu. Pretty basic rooms, but was clean and felt safe. Lockers in rooms with locks. Shower had hot water (and a lot of it)! Rooftop area was nice to hang out, and the breakfast was good.

Service was excellent, location is good since it's a really small town everything is close to either the bus, train or restaurants. Now! Hostel is in really bad condition I don't understand how people can give this place 4/5. Wifi is bad, room was smelly, toilet didn't work properly water was running the whole night, I'm the kinda person who doesn't bother for loud music, but this place was extremely loud and people yelling around the hallway, after a long day hiking this is the last that I would hope for. No, I won't recomend this place! I'm never ever believing in this reviews. Also, breakfast was cold. I

Good experience except we wanted to buy food at the bar upstairs but because they had a big grip comming in they would not let us buy anything because we were not as important .

This hostel is located by the railroad so I can't sleep well
