Island Beach House

Worst hotel I stayed in ever , Rude management, Rude employees, Cold water , No wifi, Horrible breakfast, I reported hotel.com but they were unable to help at all All in All, very bad experence

Staff was extremely accommodating. Rooms were clean. The hotel liases with a nearby excursion and activity shop which allowed easy access to trips and watersports.

The service was good,especially the young man that was running breakfast on 8/7.shower was adequate.aircon worked.beach outfront lots Bar fridge didnt work,no sheets and thin piece foam for 3rd bed,tv didnt work,internet was a disgrace .i wasted much time trying to get it working as i needed it for further travel

I had the most horrible experience at this place!!! Hugely priced!!! Better options nearby! No room is near the beach even though they boost "beachfront" in the description. Indeed, "beach view" is NOT "beachfront". I was robbed of an entire weekend, having to deal with unscrupulous and non-cooperating staff who would tell different stories ("lies") about their manager being unavailable!! Know that if you ever have a legitimate issue with their hotel, you will NEVER be able to speak with the manager. They just take your money and don't care about your experience as a customer. First, they wouldn't agree to offer a partial refund after I decided to cancel my booking upon arrival and finding out that their room was in no way quiet (in middle of downtown) nor beachfront. The partial refund was right under expedia rules BUT they kept me for 5 hours before agreeing to it. Up until now, 1 week later, they still haven't processed anything and the total charge appears on my card. I escalated the issue to expedia which is also extremely poor in handling the situation!!! Now I am left with a deficit of cad 400, a totally ruined weekend plan, and additional costs bared to return to my original place of stay. I have told them they should now process a TOTAL refund based on the circumstances! Such an awful experience shouldn't occur to people when there is clearly misleading information on the hotel room description and total lack of understanding of expedia rules from hotel staff!

10/10 Travelling family with one small child. This hotel is excellent for everything,however please be aware this is in a PUBLIC area. This means no swim-wear allowed. There is no Bikini Beach area as it is under construction at the time of our stay. The beach is very dirty. I wish it would be cleaned more often. This hotel must only be visited in conjunction with trips to other islands to get the true Maldeves experience.

Stayed for 3 days. Enjoyed the stay a lot. Nice staff. And nice food. Beautiful sea view as well.

Hotel was alright. Small room. But generally clean. Breakfast wasn't great. Staff were little unfriendly.
