Nice hotel in center of town overlooking the sassi. Great service, Ivan picked us up at the parking and took us to hotel, when we were leaving he drove us back to the parking garage

We had a fantastic stay in Matera and would really recommend this accommodation. It was a bit of a pain trying to meet up in a carpark to be taken to the accomiodation but when you get there and see how central you are you understand it. The room was lovely huge ceilings and wonderful view of the gorge and the Sassi . Ivan and Antonia are wonderful hosts and bring fresh breakfasts to the room .

We loved our stay in Matera. It was a shame, we were there only the one night. Our host was amazing. He met us in the square and showed us to our newly decorated apartment, which was lovely! In the morning, he brought fresh patries and pizza, which we devoured. At check out, he collected us and drove us to the overnight garage. Parking 15 euro's. Absolutely, brilliant!

Al nostro arrivo siamo stati gentilmente accolti dalla Sig.ra Anna la quale oltre ad averci mostrato la camera molto particolare ed accogliente, ci ha fornito di una cartina della citta' illustrandoci I luoghi di interesse da visitare. Ringrazio la cortesia e la disponibilita' dei proprietari I Sigg.ri Angelo e Ivan per la buona colazione che ci hanno puntualmente portato ogni mattina (ottimi croassant freschi di pasticceria accompagnati da una buonissima crescenta). Tutto questo ha reso il nostro soggiorno presso la Dimora Santa Barbara piacevole e confortevole. Grazie veramente per tutto. Raffaella Cattabriga

Great location near the Piazza Duomo. The view is great from the shared balcony. Ivan is a very nice guy and very helpful. Decor of the apartment is very nice and a welcome change from so many Ikea filled apartments. Note that there is no parking close and you will need to walk approx. 10 minutes to get there. Also there are stairs to be managed outside the compound and inside the compound so keep this in mind if that might be a problem for you.

Sehr gut: Die Lage der Unterkunft, die Freundlichkeit und Hilfbereitschaft des Besitzers. Sehr sauber. Frühstückservice auf das Zimmer. Italienisches Frühstück mit süßem Gebäck, Pizzaschnitten , Marmelade, Honigund auch Obst. Fein war die Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer, leider waren die Kaffeetabs recht knapp bemessen. Für unseren Geschmack wäre einmal Brot, Butter schön gewesen. Es waren nur Untertassen vorhanden, ausreichend große Teller wären toll. Da wir eher Frühaufsteher sind, kam für uns das Frühstück eher spät. Wir sind meist zwischen 8 und 1/2 9 Uhr weggegangen, da war leider das Frühstück noch nicht da. Wir hatten auch ein Zimmer mit einem Doppelbett und einem Dritten Bett bestellt , das haben wir ohne Angaben von Gründen nicht bekommen.

Ottima posizione e ottimo servizio! Camera pulita, check in puntuale, colazione buonissima portata direttamente in camera all’orario concordato. Consigliatissimo!

Camera vicinissima al duomo in posizione strategica. Camera ampia con vista sui sassi. Accoglienza ottima, colazione in camera con brioche , focacce e bruschette buonissime
