Hotel La Pradera del Arenal

The location was great, in between the hot springs and downtown. The pools at the hotel looked nice, but I didn’t have time to try them. The included breakfast was yummy! Clean rooms but the tile floors seemed weirdly oily and slick, both in our room, the room next to us and the porches.

Check in was quick and efficient. It was connected to a store with lots of souvenirs to buy. The breakfast was nice and fresh and the staff members were friendly. There were little sugar ants in the bathroom,

Friendly helpful Staff quiet safe with stunning views of Arenal. Great breakfast with free coffee and juice available all day. Stayed a second night because we liked it budget priced.

Excellent location, great pool & Jacuzzi (facing Arenal Volcano in the background)...can't beat this location. Breakfast, buffet style, clean washrooms, daily maid-service, parking on site near our rooms...also close to Paradise Hot Springs..stayed 2 nights here...picked up a few items from the Souvenir Store as well...very satisfied! And yes, did not book any trips with the location, I had a rental so went to Rio Celeste 1 day, Hot Springs in the evening and just walked over to the town for local Casado...highly recommend this location!!!

The location was wonderful. The views are amazing and the Staff is Awesome. The gift shop has so much to choose from. The breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed staying here.

I didn’t like how thin the walls were you could hear your neighbours talk all night which made it hard to sleep.

It was clean, and comfortable. It should be known that it is a fully smoke free hotel. Huge gift store, and a pretty good breakfast included.

Thin walls, heard the neighbors alarm. The mattress was a little lumpy and hard. The property was quite nice and the breakfast was quite acceptable. Close to the volcano and the thermal springs. All in all good value-for-money.

Perfect place to stay and safe parking. Close to town and nice view of volcano from our room and the jacuzzi. Free buffet on the weekend, and free breakfast during weekday that you order off the menu.

We choose this hotel for its onsite offerings of a restaurant, bar and pool. The restaurant and bar were closed the entire time - including New Year’s Eve. When asked was told they were renovating - but the bar was fully stocked with glassware and liquor. The room was acceptable, but had slat windows that didn’t close tightly- bugs at night. Great view of the volcano. Rooms are directly behind their large souvenir store- not quite the ambience was thinking from the photos. We would not have stayed here if knew the restaurant and bar were not open.
