Wine Country Inn

Very plain jane - a Motel 6 with a different name.

My first impression of the hotel was a 'rebranding' of one of the Major Very-Budget Hotel Chain Hotels. The location was good - although the parking lot is a little tricky. Friendly greeting at arrival. Non-smoking room, but the floor wasn't - and could tell. Sparse accommodations to the room - matches pictures well. There were cigarette burns in the blankets. Hair dryer did not work (front desk did provide a replacement). Walls in the room were nicely painted but DIRTY, especially around the trashcans. The breakfast area was FILTHY. The 1st morning, I thought they had just had a raucous group earlier - but some of the crumbs and nastiness (including dirty spouts on the Milk containers) were still there the next morning. No indication of daily cleaning. I'm not usually that picky about where I stay - I will definitely NOT pick this place again.

I felt that this was an excellent value. Close to town, but not in town. Quiet. Was solo and was perfect for my stay.

Good for the money and location.
