Cozy Mountain Is a travelers motel that has been maintained and is now being upgraded. Though small, it is comfortable with excellent TV and WiFi and nice linens. The owner went out of her way to make my visit pleasant and a stay here is recommended.

Great place. Super friendly, helpful owner/staff, Sarah, a former long haul trucker. You get the feeling that she wants every guest to have a great stay and is totally available to guests. Rooms are small (cozy!) but very clean and everything works. And the price is right!

Motel with lots of character.
The owner, was very friendly and hospitable. The motel had lots of character and was dated. However, it was very clean and represented correctly in their ad. There were 3 hens which lived in the parking lot and 2 friendly cats which were very present. It added to the experience which was pleasant.

An Oasis in the Desert!
I'll be honest, when we first pulled up to the motel we were a little nervous. The exterior is a little rundown. But don't let that fool you! The rooms are very nice, and very clean! Cassidy, who runs the place, is wonderful - so friendly, and very helpful. This town is a little rough around the edges, with many empty buildings and LOTS of construction going on at the moment, but we grew to love it after only one night here. Head to the Owl's Club for some tasty pizza, and stop into the courthouse to get your "Loneliest Road in America" passport book stamped, along with some free souvenirs! If you're looking for a comfortable place to stop along route 50, with a big dose of small town charm, I would highly recommend the Cozy Mountain Motel!

Totally unexpected comfort. It’s not the Ritz but I loved the people in this town. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Beds were comfortable and the deer outside were a sight to see. Would stay there again.

Nice bed, towels, sheets. A bit pricey for Austin Nevada. Town is virtually shut down... No restaurants, one bar.

Rooms are very small but the friendly service made it doable. Not the hotels fault but just want to add that there is NO WHERE to eat in Austin... nothing, no grocery store, no coffee shop, just one restaurant that you would want to avoid IF they decide they want to open. So bring food with you or you will be eating a gas station dinner of chips and a lunchable.

Wonderful little place. Small but very cozy rooms. Serta mattresses, so it was a great night's sleep. Owner/host is wonderful. Full of charm. Microwave, refrigerator, & HD TV (with Direct TV) In rooms. Very affordable for such a great place. Will definitely stay again when in Austin, NV!

Not fancy but clean and just down home friendly!!
We loved the hotel. It was older but so clean and really comfortable beds. The couple that owns the motel are so very nice and helpful. The streets were under construction so it was difficult for us to get around. They did everything possible to help us. Talk about great service!! I would stay there anytime.
