Amazingly beautiful grounds, and unique outdoor/indoor combination living area with 2 separate bedrooms and bathrooms.

Accomodations are super nice, luxurious in fact

Very clean, very private and relaxing. Just a little confusing trying to enter property for first time. Overall we were very pleased!

This property completely exceeded our expectations! We stayed at there places while in Costa Rica for one week in each place, and Casa del Rio was by far the best. The design and attention to detail of the entire property is amazing. We have traveled to many countries, and we prefer places that are comfortable, but not the "vanilla" all inclusives. We enjoy cooking and searching for food at the local grocery stores. The communal kitchen was fabulous! Although, we almost never shared it. We loved the pools, the hot tub and the water slide. The staff were excellent and welcoming. Ale would literally respond to my questions within minutes. He also arranged transportation for us. Milder was always helpful and had a great sense of humor 😊! I could go on. Just go!

Amazing property. We loved the pool, hot tub, and waterslide!

We arrived after sunset. We were slightly skeptical when approaching the gate. In the dark it appeared we were on the less fortunate side of the tracks... as the gate opened.... PURE PARADISE! Paradise suitable for royalty. The river outside with sounds of the jungle and the comfort of the bed and down pillows I slept like a baby! We stayed in the Remanso del Rio cabin. The pictures online did not do it justice, I thought I knew what to expect, but this was 10 times better! From the perfectly manicured gardens & the impeccable cleanliness! Thoughts of staying in a rain forest with open areas, without a bug in sight, is completely unimaginable! But...... Casa del Rio has accomplished just that!! Milder was our most gracious host. He arranged all of our day excursions effortlessly. We could have asked for nothing, or we could have asked for the world and he was there to accommodate! I cannot fathom the care, love and maintenance that goes into a property of this size. (We learned that he has a staff of only 6. - We've seen establishments with 10 times that amount of staff, yet accomplish only a fraction of the impressiveness and luxury that Casa del Rio does!) If you're looking for more than a room to sleep in and free meals...........If you're looking for pure serenity in the middle of a rain forest and a place that makes you question not only leaving to explore outside the property, but also leaving to go home........This place WILL make you NEVER want to leave Costa Rica!

We needed a room to fill a one night gap in La Fortuna and did not expect such a great experience! Lovely rooms, grounds, service, pools, everything! Would definitely come back here!
