I wasn't quite sure what to expect since the property didn't have reviews yet, but I figured since it was above a restaurant the complimentary breakfast should be good, and it was. First Mario and his wife were very warm and welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. Service was excellent. It's called apartments, not hotel, and that's what the experience was like. My nice own private room, without unnecessary housekeeping every day. You have a key for the main entrance and the apartment.
Probably the one thing to be aware of if you go in the winter is that there's no hot water plumbed for the shower. Most of the year, it's not an issue, and it's not like the water is cold even in mid-February, but it's not quite luke-warm either. I got used to it by the third day, and it certainly helped me save time in the shower. This is true of most properties on the island.
The room (more of a suite) was very clean. The AC was cold, and the wifi was good. Some recommended restaurants in the area are Boudoir Bonaire, Deli Delish, Peanuts Market Cafe, Osaka Sushi, Cuba Compagnie (Salsa dancing Thursday night starts about 11pm), It Rains Fishes, and Bonaire Blond Brewery. Also note, the tap water in Bonaire is great and totally good to drink, so you can just keep refilling the large water bottle Mario gives you and keep it in the fridge to always have cold water, no need to create lots of plastic waste.
