Fairfield Inn & Suites New York Manhattan/Times Square South

Honestly, considering the huge volume of guests they process, the place is as well-run as can be expected. ALL the staff I encountered were pleasant and professional. I had only two small issues: 1) there were 2 or 3 days that our room wasn’t serviced, so we had to call down for towels etc., and on the last night that I returned to the room, everything was great but they’d forgotten was cloths! And 2) the elevators took forever and usually stopped on my floor already jam-packed, forcing us to either wait another 10 Minutes or use the stairs. Other than that, though, the place was great and I hope to come back.

Had a wonderful stay at Fairfield Inn Times Square South. Location was perfect-close to Penn Station for subway and easy walking distance to Times Square and many other attractions but just far away from the noise and busy roads. The hotel itself was great; bright, modern and spotlessly clean with friendly, helpful staff. Tea and coffee in lobby all day and breakfast was included too. The choice was impressive-bagels, pastries, bacon and eggs, fruit and even a waffle machine at the weekend. Was a great start to the day and meant me didn’t spend time searching for breakfast places each morning. Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

I stayed here for a convention and Javits, and my wife and daughter stayed with me the last two days. OVERALL: An excellent experience, I'd definitely stay here again. PROS: New, modern, clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Very good hot breakfast includes eggs, breads, cereals, etc. 10-minute walk to Javits, not the prettiest scenery but it's a straight shot west down 36th Street. One block from Penn Station, 15 minutes to Times Square. CONS: Nothing. One advisory though: breakfast gets crowded, and the elevator does too, so be patient.
