Average hotel that still allows smoking on facilit
The drain in the shower was fully clogged and there was still dirty water in it from the previous occupant. Even the drain in the sink was partially clogged and would drain at a very slow pace. Housekeeping very poor. Otherwise, everything else was okay. Great vue from my room. Bed was comfortable. No mini-fridge in the room though. Wall aren't soundproof. I could hear laughters from neighbors.

A Hidden Gem
Staying at Palace Station has always been a pleasure. It is such a hidden gem. You can have the tranquility you need away from the strip yet are so close to it if you want to go. There's great security on the property and all the staff is helpful and friendly. I have tried to stay at Palace Station every time I'm in town for that reason. I like to stay away from the strip but also have a decent place to eat and gamble which Palace Station has. Parking here is safe and you also have other local food options nearby available to you. I cannot stop raving about Palace Station to my friends and family. I hope to continue to stay at this great hotel and casino in all my future visits to Vegas!

Palace Station
I must mention the front desk at Palace Station in Las Vegas. When i checked in on Dec 17 the gentleman clerk noticed i was using a cane and was having difficulty maneuvering my luggage. He moved my room very close to elevator. Very thoughtful and outstanding customer service. I frequently stay in hotels and it is unusual to receive this wonderful service. ***** to him. Sorry i did not get his name.

Wei at check in is great, housekeeping is slacking
Wei was polite and friendly when we checked in. We received our 20% off food voucher with our room keys. When we got to our non smoking room there was a very strong cigarette smell as soon as we opened the door. When we informed the front desk staff of the smell, Wei quickly informed housekeeping and found us another room. Our new room was much better, however when we opened the closet there was a pair of women’s underwear hanging up in there! So back downstairs we went to deliver those. Wei apologized again. The beds were comfortable and the bath tub was nice and deep. The AC worked well. We ordered dinner to go from Tailgate Social and it was yummy and they correctly applied the 20% off. The next morning I received a text at 8:10am with checkout instructions AND housekeeping knocked on our door at 8:30am to see if we had checked out!!! Check out is not until 11am, so not sure why they’re knocking so early and why I’m getting a text that early too. We left our room around 9:30am, housekeeping was standing a few doors down, and by the time we got to the car, they had already checked us out! All this to say, Wei at the front desk was great and housekeeping needs to do a better job. We didn’t appreciate being “pushed out” in the morning either. Almost felt like we were inconveniencing them. Not sure if we will be back.

Checked in with family, some of was their first time staying at Palace Station. The loved it. Comfort, security excellent. The only draw back was, not very many eating options. Had to go out for dinner. Our rooms, were very spacious, and clean as well.
