Great stay!
The place is old but elegant and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and kind. They serve complimentary wine with cheese and crackers and the breakfast is simple but good. The common areas are always welcoming and nice to sit and enjoy. It is very well located, close the union square and china town. We loved it!

Nice hotel if you have to be in SF.
Very comfortable, pleasant hotel. Unfortunately I did not like San Francisco at all but that's not the hotel's fault. SF has a very serious problem with homeless people which is much worse than the last time i visited.

Great hotel for our family trip
This was a family trip for my birthday. It was our kids (ages 2 and 4) first time in San Francisco so we wanted to be closer to Union Square. The hotel has a vintage vibe but it was very comfortable and filled our family needs. There was a kitchen with a stove and microwave. The bath room was huge and my husband loved the bidet.

It was a nice hotel but the parking was a hassle they only have valet parking and it works take line 30 minutes to get your car to inconvenient if you want to go out somewhere
