Nice room, but amenities found lacking
I picked this hotel specifically for the hot tub. I called in advanced to make sure the hot tub was working and to find out where to park. When I arrived at the hotel, I was somewhat confused about where to go. The entrance was on the first floor. The desk was on the second and the restaurant was on the third. Getting from the parking garage back to the hotel was also confusing hotel offered three wines at the Manager’s evening reception. However, one of them was sold out there was a sign by the hot tub that instructed how to turn it on, but I could not find the button and I could not call the desk from the house phone. Eventually, the engineer showed up and he said the hot tub was not working. There was also some algae and mold growing on the floor and the tile was very, very slippery.
The light in my bathroom did not work when I first arrived. But engineering fixed it while I was up at the hot tub. The phone was not plugged in when I arrived. Breakfast was mediocre. They offered scrambled eggs, French toast, hashbrowns, and sausage and bacon on the hot bar. I was also cereal and some juice and some bread and English muffins. The hotel provided a list of walkable restaurants. There was quite a number of places to eat, diverse menus and prices.
