Disappointing Stay
Our recent stay at the Nashville resort was a mix of positives and major disappointments. The “ICE!” events were a highlight, and the atrium spaces were stunning, especially with the festive Christmas decorations. Dining at The Old Hickory restaurant was also a memorable experience with excellent food and service.
Unfortunately, the room was a complete letdown. There was rust around the bathroom door, cracked and peeling ceiling paint above the bathtub (which we documented with photos), and an unpleasant musty smell. The beds were terribly uncomfortable, feeling like a pile of old blankets. To make matters worse, the room lacked soundproofing, and we could hear every conversation in the hallway. The sleepless night left us exhausted, and the conditions were so unbearable that we decided to leave by 9 PM on the second night—even though we paid $1,500 for two nights.
Adding insult to injury, we were charged $37 per day for parking. For the price of staying on the property, it’s ridiculous to pay extra for parking.
Overall, this was the most expensive and frustrating hotel experience we’ve had. If we ever visit again, we’ll stay elsewhere and come only to enjoy the attractions. Save your money!
