Check in was not fast, they couldn't find my booking made by Expedia. They gave us a room with a not working small airco. The room was 34C degrees, we called reception, they sent 2 men to have a look, they said they will come back after pushing a few buttons, but they did not come back and the temperature of 34C degrees did not went down. After 3 hours waiting we went back to reception and explained that the room was still too hot. The first receptionist (older lady) looked at a list and said they had no other room. Then a younger much more friendly receptionist looked thoroughly in her list and found us another room. That room was very good, with a much better and bigger airconditioning. The room was big enough for a family of 4 persons, firm beds. Swimming pool was very welcome in hot summer Rome, not enough sun beds though, maybe 15 to 20, A few were broken, we saw an old men and another women fall on the ground while lying on their beds. Every day we saw people got hurt because the staff did not take away or repair the broken beds. Breakfast was okay, a lot of sweet things, no eggs, poor sausages. We liked the shopping mall next to the hotel, lot of shops and a big Coop supermarkt. We went there in August, big sales! A little bit far away from Rome center, but a good relaxing opportunity after a few days hotel in Rome center itself.
