The hotel is brand new, and there are still several details they need to fine tune in terms of service. We voluntarily asked to downgrade from a deluxe suite to an ocean view regular room in order to have a separation between bathroom and bedroom, and to have a view on the ocean. The suite was dark and the view was obstructed by plants over the widows. Also the bathtub was in the middle of the room, and there was no partition between wash and sleep areas, while the enormous separate sitting room was useless and not welcoming at all. The lower room was noisier as closer to the street level, but the direct view on the ocean was great. The weather was very bad so we did not spend any time on the terrace pool and bar. The staff was very nice and trying very hard, but unevenly trained.
Lastly, the laundry prices were outrageously expensive by any western five-star hotel standard, let alone by Vietnam standards. Go use local services outside the hotel instead.
