Hidden Gem!
This newly renovated hotel was beautifully designed! We got to bring our dogs but it was a bit pricey for them to not really be allowed in a lot of areas of the property. The room was nice, TV was in a weird spot and very far from the areas you would watch TV. The room with fireplace and jet tub was amazing but the tub was definitely dated and loud when using the jets and can see some marks in the tub. The king bed was SUPER comfortable and the sheets were super clean. The only thing i don’t like that a lot of hotels are doing is putting the comforter in between two flat sheets and it’s just not it… i don’t like it personally.
The restaurant was beautiful and the food was great! we got to meet the Chef and he was super nice and went out of his way to really make sure our experience was perfect! Unfortunately a big part of why we went to this spot was because of the spa and had high hopes for massages…. but their one masseuse was on vacation and could not get massages. This spot is definitely a hidden gem and we will definitely be back.

Great Value
We were looking forward to the full experience of a “spa” like hotel as a family. The atmosphere was great, the visuals were great. Its important to note the pool/hot tub is in a walkable distance from the rooms and this isnt announced ahead of time. Also the phone wasnt working so we werent able to have any assistance/room service. Other than that we are looking forward to another stay.

Amazing!
Let me just say this is place is literally a hidden gem‼️ First thing staying for celebrating our anniversary and i was amazed from the moment i walked in! The detail in the hotel was beautiful! Our room was spacious, a lot of beautiful decor, the bed was comfy and big! I loved how it had a living room look alike set up. The tv allowed you to watch all apps. There was a lot of areas to charge your phone. Loved the mirrors everywhere! We stayed in the jacuzzi room and let me just say it was the first time we stayed in a hotel that had a 3 in one and I thought that was amazing! The hot water was great and the jacuzzi was so powerful it felt great! The towels were nice and thick and the bathrooms had enough towels! Now the restaurant was AMAZING! Food was great, drinks were amazing and the service! Loved the decor in the restaurant felt fancy! Wished I explored the whole hotel like the spa and pool but from what I already experienced it was overall amazing!

Lovely place
The place is always great. The pool is too far from the room though. My only complaint is the 8am vacuuming all down the hallway on Sunday morning. Please don't do that. Thank you.

Had a nice time
Went for the 1st time for 2 nights used hotels.com later I found out would of been cheaper to book directly with hotel its was rainy foggy days so didn't try pool area the pool area is in different building you can walk or drive there not far.and couldn't see much outside but was very beautifully lit outside upon arrival nice quiet area the entrance and restaurant look very classy there is free lemon water and coffee tea at the entrance. the clerk was nice check in was easy. finding room wasn't as easy 1st time around. Got the executive room with fireplace and jetted tub. Breakfast was included in deal but I want to note it's a very light breakfast bagles toast pastries cereal berries aples oranges orange juice and milk. No eggs protein or any sort. The room was ample great size but dark no ceiling lights they just have lamps. The 1st night didn't get to use tub once I finally got it running there was police like banging on the door because tub was leaking into the bar downstairs were told not to use it til maintenance could come which was next day. The manager was very helpful the found the issue and moved us to another room that was smaller but had a private patio and a bigger jetted tub which we did get to use she apologized wrote me a card and gave a gift certificate. The beds were very comfortable the pillows everything. I thoroughly enjoyed the jetted tub in room. There are lil coffee machines in room and the room had 2 bottles of water upon arrival.

Overall good stay
The stay room and restaurant was fabulous. The hot tub was kind of cold, so were parts of the hotel, even with the fireplace and heat up in my room it, the cold air came right kn through the windows. Nothing major. It would have been nice to have a robe that the hotel provides and keeps, and the tv was in an awkard place so it was hard to see it at all. But those are little things.

Check-in was smooth and the room was clean. The hot tub was very relaxing and I loved getting a massage at the spa. Hotel staff was helpful. Overall, a wonderful experience.

The renovated property is lovely and we enjoyed our overnight stay immensely. Our room was very comfortable and welcoming. We had booked spa treatments which were located in a separate location about a 3 minute walk from the hotel. My massage and subsequent facial were wonderfully relaxing as done by the masseuse Lisa, and esthetician,Luz. However the changing room was quite small without privacy.
The pool was heated but the hot tub was merely warm-basically the same temp as the pool.
Our dinner at the hotel was incredibly good as we tried out the new menu suggested by the chef and he didn't disappoint his Italian cuisine flair...everything was delicious. Our waiter was also very attentive and considerate.
My only concern was having to leave the hotel and walk to the spa/pool area. In cold weather after receiving treatments and/or relaxing in the pool or hot tub, it's not ideal to have to don cold weather outer wear to head back to the hotel...although one can drive and park there too. Thus my stay is rated as Very Good.
I recommend you try visiting the Chateau Merrimack
We will definitely return!
