OVERALL: Once you pass through the very understated entrance gate, and go through check-in, you'll find yourself in a spacious, beautiful palace. Calm, serene, beautifully restored, with a spectacularly beautiful bar and an amazing courtyard with fountain works.
The area makes for a beautiful night walk.
The former queen's pool is fit for...well, a queen.
F&B: you're greeted with nice chocolates with some local flavours.
The restaurant was the only let-down; the cheap 90-s Thai optic furnishings doesn't really fit the environment, and the food was nice, but not great; the service was.
ROOM: very spacious, with a beautiful all marble new bathroom.
Good amenities - but no conditioner! They need that.
