The condo was very spacious. It was nice to have a separate bedroom as my husband is an early riser. The place was clean except the floors were in need of clean. The patio was nice to have breakfast the only issue was the restaurant across the channel had music every night. Beaches and places to visit were close by. Had to ask for clean towels several times. No daily maid service. Going up and down the stairs in the condo can be a challenge for the elderly.

The place was roomy, updated and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was the laundry. Had to download an app and pay minimum $10.00 for a $6.00 laundry. The whole app thing for a simple load of laundry was a bit much.

Great views from the balcony
Good location for us to snorkel and kayak at the John Pennecamp state park. Plenty of restaurants nearby and within walking distance, though we mostly cooked in the handy kitchenette. King bed was comfortable. We loved sitting on the balcony over the canal and marina watching pelicans fly by. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Waterside Suites and Marina a Keys choice
We enjoyed our three nights at Waterside Suites. Large, comfortable, recently renovated loft suite with a full kitchen and a balcony facing the marina. Staff professional and courteous, and the cookies in the main office a nice touch. A little noisy at night because of the bar and restaurant right across the marina from our suite but it would usually calm down most nights before 11 pm. The hotel is within walking distance of several restaurants. Recommend Doc’s Diner for breakfast. Always appreciate free parking on the premises. A word of caution for people with mobility issues because there are some stairs to climb up to the units and another flight from the main floor to the bedroom. Not an issue for us but I can see it being a bit of a challenge for some people. All in all, a reasonably priced alternative to some of the chain hotels nearby.
