Pretty good, even though we got sick
The resort is absolutely beautiful! It's so big that it never feels crowded. Plenty of places to hang out during the day... pools, beach, lagoon, and no shortage of staff to get you whatever you need! So many dining options, and the food is great!
The reasons I did not give 5 stars:
I thought it was kind of strange they didn't offer or even have water or anything to drink for us at their airport shuttle waiting area. One staff member said they would have water for us on the bus, but they didn't.
The excursions/parks/ etc are a bit unorganized and chaotic. One staff member will say one thing and the next will tell you something different. Lots of wasted time due to inefficiency.
3 out of 4 people traveling with us got sick. My husband was out for about 2 days. My friend and I weren't as bad, but still had stomach issues. We all had it at different times, so I'm actually questioning their water. They provide water in glass bottles which they (supposedly) clean and refill. I know they have their own water filtration system... I just wonder if it's taking out everything that might be harmful. I also know that this happens more often than not in Mexico, but it's my 8th time to Mexico, and the 1st time I've ever been sick.
I'd honestly go back to give it another try if I were able to have a case of actual bottled water delivered to my room before arrival.
