Not safe. They don’t care.
Around 3 am we heard a loud knock at the door. At first we ignored it, but after repeated knocks we got up and asked the person on the other side of the door if they needed something. The very drunk man was yelling and causing, clearly confused on which room he was going to that night. We called the front desk to be told no one was on site and there was nothing they could do to help. The person on the phone asked me for my room number then promptly hung up on me. We pushed furniture in front of the door and waited until it was quiet to go back to bed. The next morning I went to talk with the front desk staff. No one was physically there. I had to check out via a kiosk. I could not understand nor hear what the man via the kiosk was saying. After a few minutes we were able to get me checked out where he was visibly annoyed that I couldn’t understand his poor technology. I attempted to tell him what happened overnight and he just said “leave your key”. I’m so glad I wasn’t alone and that I didn’t have children with me. We travel a ton. I have never felt so unsafe and ignored for a real safety issue. Will not return.

Decent low budget motel
Totally hated the kiosk check in. It was late at night (3am) and i would much rather interact with a person for real than a kiosk. Breakfast was a huge disappointment, cold cereal, toast, yogurt, or a waffle. No protein.

A very decent hotel.
It was a cheap one night stay passing through. I feel like the price of the stay was equivalent with the hotel quality. Served its purpose well. Room smelled a bit musty but thankfully the weather was conducive to opening the window and the interstate traffic all night was some good white noise!

Desperately needs updating
Our room and bed were fairly comfortable. This is an older hotel in need of updating. For instance, the carpeting going down to the first floor on the stairs is absolutely black and it’s the same carpet they had when I stayed there nine years ago. The breakfast was the usual carb fest. Anything else?

First the positive - the person who checked me in was nice. A kiosk in the lobby bisects the check in counter leaving either side feeling cramped. It appeared to go to an Indian call center that from what I gathered was unable to help the person standing at the kiosk. The filtered drinking water in the lobby was dirty to the point of having things floating in the water. The curtains in the room appeared filthy. If stained, they should have been replaced. The in room microwave had food stuck to the sides and door. The mattress was broken down with a spring poking out. It felt like they’d tried to extend the life of the mattress with a foam pad that also felt broken down and crunchy. The carpet baseboards are pulling away from the walls and I can only assume that this is where the large bug that crawled across the floor disappeared to.
