A Charming Hotel in Carmel
A good friend and I decided to spend a few days in Carmel at the Carmel Beach House. We were extremely pleased with our rooms and especially the wonderful staff. We were driven to and from our restaurant reservations every night and had freshly baked cookies brought to our room each day. The hotel is a block away from the ocean so the views and the walks were splendid. I would certainly stay there again. My only (slight) criticism was the cost of the drinks we had at their bar. $30 for a glass of white wine did seem a little excessive. But it was very nice to be able to go there before dinner each night.

back from previous trips but pricing is not clear with a basic breakfast which we thought was included added $45 to our bill not to mention a $40 "resort fee". The only resort benefits were free shuttle into town, with a tip expected, and added costs for services at top of the line charges.

The best hotel in carmel
My husband and I loved the hotel. It’s now ate favorite hotel in Carmel. The room was fantastic and the entire staff was incredible and very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and say it’s a 10 star hotel!!!

This unique hotel is nestled in a wonderful Carmel residential neighborhood very close to the beach. Our room had an ocean view above the roof line of houses across the street. The staff was amazing and the hotel was cozy and welcoming. We had a balcony where we could sit and enjoy the morning view of the ocean and the evening sunset. Also a fireplace in our room and a very comfortable bed. Highly recommend the Carmel Beach Hotel.

Our 6 night stay at the hotel was wonderful! It’s a well appointed small family owned boutique hotel. So many little perks that add up such as free breakfast, beach towels and chairs, chef prepared afternoon sip-n-dip, turn down service with fresh baked cookies, car service into the Carmel village. Plus, the gorgeous beach nearby Just a wonderful experience!

Very peaceful & relaxing stay
We wanted to stay away from the center of Carmel and walk around. This was the place. Parked our car and enjoyed the ambiance. Even though it was chilly in November the space heater did a great job warming us while we had breakfast outside. They offered room service for breakfast if we wanted. Service is impeccable and rooms were completely redone. Highly recommended.

This is a very quiet location, yet close to the beach. The hotel and grounds are really nice and well taken care of. The daily breakfast on the patio near the outdoor fireplace was wonderful. Our room was very spacious, had great amenities, and had well curated furniture and decor. The staff was great and even drove us to and from our dinner reservation at Grasings. One of my favorite things was sitting around the fire pit during sunset. It was spectacular.

Wonderful property with excellent attentive staff in a perfect location (1 block off Carmel Beach and walkable to town center). Car available to drop and pickup as well. This hotel was simply beautiful. You can here the ocean when your outside enjoying their patio. Very relaxing. Very clean. Very friendly staff. We will come back for our 1st year anniversary. This place will always be special for us because we got married out here in Carmel.

The staff was professional and friendly Our complaints were : 1. it was impossible to find anything on tv that we normally watch and 2. our air unit was always producing cold air and we couldn't get it into "heat" mode

They think of absolutely everything here! Such a great location by the ocean, breakfast was fabulous, staff super friendly, great recommendations. Loved the complimentary 10 minute massage one day and car/driver. Hotel gym was great. Hard to pick what was my favorite, because there were so many perks. Cute rooms with a view, comfy bed and pillows, free parking. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here.
