This choice was a bust. And I rarely leave reviews, good or bad. Many cool hotels in Innsbruck, and this isn’t one of them, except for the rooftop bar with spectacular view. The location is weird and although every room gets some mountain view, it’s also overlooking the huge train station below, which can be noisy.
We were promised a VIP booking based on key points thru hotels.com (a room upgrade if available, complimentary bottle of champagne, etc.). None of that happened, but the real disappointment was rude service and almost no attention to detail.
Room was dusty, drapery broken, comforter stained, no coffee maker in the room which we were told doesn’t come standard with a “classic room” but just a tea kettle and two packets of instant coffee. No big deal, but when we requested more, they never complied.
Spa is lovely if you’re ok with full frontal co-ed nudity in steam and saunas. Open from 4-8pm but no attendants. Only one masseur so spots limited.
Spend your $250 per night elsewhere and stop at Adler for a drink on the roof if you’re curious.
