Cour d'Alsace is a beautiful historic Alsacion hotel. It has more modern wings added to the original building and they are very nicely done. The styling, decor etc is first class and our room was quite large, beautifully appointed with one of the biggest and best bathrooms we have ever experienced in Europe. The parking is on site and so convenient. The hotel is right near the central square so location is perfect. There is also an indoor swimming pool and sauna.
Some of the reception staff were friendlier than others but overall ok.
The problems: The TV would not work until someone came to get it going. There were towels for the pool but none for the shower. No apology for either but both issue quickly remedied.
The toiletries were limited , especially for such an upmarket place.
Our personal issues: very schmick and cool light switches but After 2 days we still hadn't mastered them.
Again, the key system is also overly complicated. Need to use the special pool key to access the residence. The room key won't do it.
I stayed here years ago and it is exactly as I remember with respect to the facilities but seems a bit " corporate" and maybe just lacking on a few very important personal touches.
