Check in hat nicht richtig funktioniert. Taste Hotel hatte eine Buchung nicht über Expedia im System gehabt und wollte meine Kreditkarte nochmal buchen. Ich vermute dass diese an einer Panne von Expedia lag und gleichzeitig ein schlechtes Handover zwischen Schichten. Ich konnte im Expedia app die Buchung nur teilweise ansehen und müsste die Reception überzeugen per Email Bestätigung und Zahleneingang aus Kontoauszug. Nach 20 min hat die Mitarbeiterin dann doch in Expedia Webseite gefunden. Unnötige Stress nach einem langen Arbeitstag und nicht mal eine Entschuldigung für die Unannehmlichkeiten. Außerdem fand ich schon grenzwertig dass man für eine 3 Nächte Übernachtung, keine Flasche Wasser kostenlos zur verfügung stellt. Konkurrenz in der gleichen und manchmal günstigeren Preiskategorie in Ostalbkreis haben es viel besser gelöst. Ist eine Kleinigkeit, aber lässt ein Beigeschmack zurück.

Hotel voldoet voor tussenstop op heen- of terugreis van vakantie, niet voor een langer verblijf. Geen vriendelijk ontvangst aan receptie. Kamers zijn gehorig. Het ontbijt was beperkt en werd slecht aangevuld. Zitplaatsen in ontbijtzaal ontoereikend voor aantal hotelgasten. Honden zijn wel welkom. Restaurant en bar op zondag gesloten. De plaats Heidenheim heeft weinig te bieden en heeft nauwelijks eetgelegenheden.

Schönes Hotel, aber ...
Alles in allem ein gutes Zimmer, geräumiges Zimmer, reichhaltiges Frühstück. Zwei Dinge habe ich jedoch: es wird immer mit dem angeschlossenen (öffentlichen) Schwimmbad geworben, das allerdings genau zu der Zeit geschlossen war, als ich mit meinem Sohn im Hotel war. Der Zugang (durch einen unterirdischen Tunnel) zum Schwimmbad ist einer der Hauptgründe, warum wir so gerne in dieses Hotel kommen - schon seit Jahren. Daher ist es sehr ärgerlich, wenn das nicht genutzt werden kann, ob das Hotel nun zu der Leistung verpflichtete ist oder nicht. Als langjähriger Kunde hätte ich da nicht nur eine Information erwartet, sondern evtl. einen Gutschein für ein Ausweichbad (z. B. Limes Therme oder so). Zum Zweiten: ich hatte angefragt, ob es möglich sei, die gesamte Buchung um einen Tag zu verschieben, weil ich erst aus familiären Gründen am Sonntag Abend losfahren konnte. Bei Anruf gab es nur die Antwort, daß ich die Buchung ja extern getätigt hätte. Dann rief ich bei hotels.com an, zwar war man im Chat sehr nett, aber erste Option war eine Neubuchung (bei Verfall der alten), dann das Versprechen, sich ans Hotel zu wenden, und tags darauf sich wieder bei mir zu melden. Das ist jedoch nie geschehen. Daher blieb mir nichts anderes übrig, also noch nachts die Reise anzutreten. Hier hätte ich sowohl seitens des Hotels als auch seitens Hotels.com erwartet, daß es hier mehr Entgegenkommen gibt. Ich bin schon seit über 10 Jahren Kunde, Goldkunde sogar. Das bringt aber keinen besseren Service.
