Served the purpose but left a lot to be desired.
The appearance of the hotel was very rundown. Our rooms were very shabby looking and cleanliness was in question. One room had sticky floors (I don't think this was because they were dirty but some sort of residue left from the cleaner that was used.) The second room's floor had areas of stickiness and areas that were so slippery you had to be careful not to fall. Could see outside through the cracks in the wooden trim around the air conditioners. Bathrooms were fairly clean but so rundown they felt dirty. No bath mats were provided. Fitted bed sheet had no elastic left on the corners and would not stay on throughout the night. Breakfast consisted of a choice of cold cereal or bagels placed in individual ziploc bags or a couple of pieces of bread also placed in Ziploc bags (didn't dare to eat after seeing the employees.)

Yikes. Stay somewhere else...
Overall decent hotel but we all agreed we would never stay here again. It is in a convenient location, but I would suggest another hotel in the area over the Econo Lodge Hornell. We got there late at night and there were next to no cars in the parking lot, which was a bit off-putting. Felt like we were in a scary movie... where was everyone? We booked a non-smoking room on hotels.com but the front desk said their information was for a smoking room. Thankfully they were able to give us a non-smoking room. The room itself smelled like 1,000 gallons of cleaning fluid, but did not feel clean at all. The floors were super dirty, my socks were black after walking across the floor. The beds were okay, good enough for 1 night. The next morning when we went to check out there were people lingering around the main office. Some dude was talking to the front desk person and stared at us like we had 3 heads. We used the ice machine to refill our cooler and he was very rude to us when we returned the ice scoop. It seems like a lot of people live at this hotel and just linger around all day. Overall a very weird and uncomfortable vibe from this hotel. We survived 1 night but may not have survived 2.

The girl at the counter, I forget her name but she had a blackwork tattoo with a moon in it on her inner left forearm, she was very very nice and understanding after a booking mistake. She did this while overwhelmed by people who appeared to be there for an extended duration. Whatever she's making, its not enough.

For an economy stay it was quite nice, clean, comfortable, etc. The bed covering was rather light so I got cold in the night, but that’s just because I didn’t want to turn on the heat in July

Worst hotel I’ve ever seen
Wow. This is the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The room was filthy, the sheets were dirty and had burn holes in them, the walls had damage and holes, the sink and tub were rusty and gross. The whole thing was horrendous and we left and went to stay somewhere else.

I have personal pictures of the two hotel rooms I ended up in, in one night and it's definitely not worth the $120 dollars. I ordered a smoking room paid in full. And got a whole room that wasn't and was told that it was ok. The rooms are VERY dirty there was needle caps and rice in drawers. The housekeepers don't clean, the beds are like prison. One of the two beds had broken glass from a light bulb, and so much built up gunk, as well as sheets that don't fit th beds. I am so disappointed and dissatisfied. This place isn't how it use to bed anymore. My girlfriend is a full time housekeeper at one of the Indus hotels and that type of cleanliness in the econo Lodge is very unprofessional.
