I was in NYC again to see some theatre, and have tried many hotels. This may be my new favorite. The women at the front desk handled whatever needed to happen (check in/out, get a cab, store bags, etc.) with ease. They shared their name and used mine in a way that was friendly, not sales-y. They worked in a way to show that I was an important guest, without being frantic. I saw they treated everyone this way. A subtle difference that I never see anymore, they came out from behind the desk and walked me to where I needed to go, they didn't just point and wish me well.
The room was large, pristine, and the whole hotel smelled wonderful. I would gladly stay again.
