While the property was pretty worn and in need of repairs (door falling off hinge, toilet seat loose) it’s the most affordable option for a bed to sleep in we’ve found (even cheaper than the hostel for a private bedroom). The morning coffee and nice bars (and fridge access) were appreciated.

If you ever visit Chicago and are looking for a quiet and quirky place to stay that makes you feel at home, then the Villa Toscana is where you need to stay. The artwork and overall theme to this BnB is eccentric and fun, very easy going vibe and I would most definitely recommend this place to everyone I know that may visit Chicago in the future. 10/10 would come back.
