I booked this holiday to celebrate my mom's and my own birthdays. As i have a Hilton Membership, i inform the hotel few weeks in advance that i will spend holidays there, where as a hilton member you are eligable to have early check in.To my dissapointment, Upon arrival (on my mom birthday) the guy on the reception acted very uninterested and slow. We had to wait 3,5 hours before we could actually check in. No water, tea or coffee has been offered (very unexpected from hilton). Anyone would agree that such a simple thing can make a big difference.
Gym: most of the equipement did not work, it did not feel comfortable to do a work out while 4 guys were fixing it.
Finance/invoice administration could be approved as it seems that it is a big mess: upon the check out (on my birthday), the guy on the reception presented me a bill with lots of things that we never used/did/buy, like brekfasts and minibar. The discussion took not less than 30 min to prove otherwise, no appology, nothing at all to make it better, so again, happy birthday!
The householding: one day we came back to the room and found out a mountain of broken glas outside the door and inside the room. Called the reception, the cleanining lady came,cleaned and again no appology, nothing at all.
For the first time in my life (i travel quite a lot) i was so happy to leave the hotel as soon as possible.
