Booked my room before arriving through hotels.com
Arrived and the girl working the front desk told me my card had declined and needed another card for payment. I told her the payment had processed and I had a receipt from hotels.com
For 30 minutes I stood in the lobby while she called 3 different people trying to figure out how to process our room without having to charge me twice. After I asked her to just cancel the room completely so I could go somewhere else she activated a key and said she would get it figured out. She was very nice and apologetic but no one seemed to know how to do anything.
