I paid for all the rates at Hotels.com and stayed here for four days. However, when I confirmed after checking out, I confirmed that the hotel charged again to my deposit credit card. So I called the hotel and hotel said it was a simple deposit, and it would be refunded it later. But this doesn't make sense. I have stayed at many hotels over the years, but I have never actually paid with my credit card for deposit. I stayed at 6 hotels on this trip, but they did just save my credit card information and did not actually charge me this way. Furthermore, if it was a deposit, the payment should have been canceled immediately after check-out, but the payment was not canceled until I asked over the phone. So I can't believe that the hotel charged for a simple deposit, and I don't know if it's a simple mistake or intentional by an employee.
