New hotel with ‘spick and span’ rooms.
A brand new hotel with a lot of (small) floors, located near some large shops (Walmart) about 2 km outside the village of Salina Cruz. Sufficient free parking facilities and shops around the hotel. Rather small rooms, but with a very efficient layout of the rooms. Good twin beds, sufficient lamplight in the room, flatscreen tv, a rollor blind to darken the room. Good free wifi. A breakfast buffet included in the price of our room, limited choice but sufficient. A restaurant (‘Toks’) opposite of the hotel.
Negative was the experience that the hotel is not a cozy place to stay if you are on holyday. The hotel was inhabited mostly by business people and people who probably work in the nearby oil industries. The hotel feels sterile if you are on holiday. Also that we had a room next to the elevators.
