Before known as Boavista guesthouse, we were given room 104 and it's a very nice spacious room with a balcony. The room has well functioning airco (only cooling used). The flatscreen tv was mounted quite high, almost above the door, which was ok to look at it from the bed. But the location of the hotel is great! Close to metro and ferry, timeout market and Rebeira market. Plenty of nice bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood... also the city center is close by. It's not perfect, not sound proof, but it's also a matter of knowing this and respecting the other guests. I wouldn't put a high pile carpet in a hotel room, it's hard to keep clean even if you vacuum every day. Mails aren't answered, only standard forms are sent, switching from English to French??? I was lucky, people were on site to let me in. With all the luggage and the searching, the codes etc were just too much at the arrival. Once settled that all worked great! We had a very nice stay of 5 days!
