YO no go
This place has seen better days. The lobby was ok but the rooms seem to have been forgotten about. The Saltillo tile would have worked if it was actually cleaned. The same goes for the bathroom and the rest of the room - just seemed forgotten about over time. The candy wrapper that turned up between the bedspread and the sheet was a pretty good sign that the linens were also forgotten about when it comes to washing. The icing on the cake was the morning surprise of no shower. Oh there was a physical shower of course (something the front desk clerk seemed to want to laugh and joke about ) I told him the shower diverter was laying in pieces in the tub upon our first attempt at morning showers. (he then questioned why I didn’t bring it up earlier!!!) More interested in playing point counterpoint, rather than accommodating a customer, this guy had no business at the front desk. Finally, when I suggested that his shoddy service and subpar room should amount to some type of credit, he wanted to continue with his argumentative method of “customer service.” The legendary YO would probably be better managed by the discount motelier OYO.
Maybe this would put it out of its misery.
