When arriving by boat, you can spot the resort at the far end of the beach, yet still close to all the turbulence of the busy peer, which made us a bit anxious. When arriving at the resort though our doubts where quickly gone. The resort is submerged in a beautiful jungle garden which isolates it from the busy harbor. The little villa's are like luxurious tree houses which large balconies that provide a great garden view and in our case a glimpse of the beach and ocean.
We got a warm welcome at the reception by very friendly and professionals staff, enjoying a welcome drink while preparations for our rooms where made.
Our accommodation was great. It provided the signature Thai experience we were looking for but also the comfort to enjoy it. Next to our own accommodation, the resort has a lot of different lounge facilities at different places customers can enjoy, next to the nice bar, beach, different restaurants and excellent swimming pool. The resort has its own beaches which provide great snorkeling. Especially around a couple of ship wrecks that make up for a nice coral reef allowing us to spot Harlekin clown fish, giant puffer and Lion fish. The resort is close to the harbor. Which is nice when enjoying a snorkeling or diving tour by boat. The downside is that at times, there can be substantial noise of boat engines. The good thing is that the town is only a short walk over the beach away.
