It's a cheap hotel, so you can't expect that much and I didn't check it beforehand, but the lack of air-conditioning during the summer makes this hotel a bad option if you're traveling to Paris during this time. There's also only one, albeit large, window what you can open, so there's no good option to ventilate the room when you come back to your room at the end of your day. We left the window open during the night, which was really the only option giving the warmth you get on the top floor, but that leaves you exposed to all the noise of Paris.
It's a bit run down, but that's ok at least it was clean.
What's strange though is that there was only 1 pillow in our room. We're a couple booking a double room, so we would expect 2 to be available. We only found out when we got back at the end of day 1. We had to request a second pillow the day after. We also received only a single, small, towel during cleanup. Which again we found out when we got home late in the evening, so we had to specifically ask for it again.
Location is good. It's close to 2 metro lines and there are some good breakfast options. Wouldn't recommend to have dinner in that neighborhood, there are much better options in Paris, but it's definitely possible.
