The devil is in the details. Real great staff !
Definitely a good hotel. Not only is it spotless and new, but also it had all the amenities we needed.
We had to book shortly in advance because of a family emergency and in hindsight we were very happy we could still be accomodated here. The hotel is perfectly located with shops (Wholefoods across the street !) and restaurants nearby (try the sushi at Yotsuba and the pizza at Pieology !).
Also the hotel provided a comfortable room, superfriendly and helpful staff and options for the well needed relaxation (pool, gym, and even 24hr free hot drinks supply). Guest laundry and a well equipped office room made it complete.
One sidenote: a devilish detail we really disliked as Europeans, was the use of plastic cutlery and paper plates that came with the complimentary breakfast. This really didn't do any right to the quality of the food choice and atmosphere in the hotel. After addressing this to the GM of the hotel (who was working hard at the frontdesk too!) we learned this is part of the Hampton Inn concept. We think it did not fit in the very well thought of concept. Luckily this was compensated by the friendly service of the breakfast hostess who even made sure to get us a larger size plates so everything would fit on it :-)
Yes, we will stay another time here, and we surely advise you to book early, as in the week we stayed there the hotel completely sold out....
