8/10 Very good

It wasn’t bad

My stay was good was there with a co worker and we had a good time. Although there is a lot of homeless people allow in there knowing people are coming out of town makes the reviews bad my stay was comfortable the bathroom was remodel and clean I would recommend new toilet seats be renewed and new beds and blankets they do have stains on them this hotel has so much potential if it makes the necessary upgrades

The hotel was within walking distance of the concert venue. I was able to walk to public transportation and restaurants. The hotel provided breakfast. The staff was friendly and efficient. The hotel was a good price for the amount of time that I needed to stay. La Quinta has earned a returning customer.

. The bed was clean and comfortable That's the only positive . Everything else was worn out- like used garage sale furniture , the door was missing paint. The lock didn't work. It STANK of cigarette and pot smoke. The phone didn't work and was labeled with wrong room. The neighborhood outside was not safe past dark.

The staff were lovely and the rooms were clean and had everything I needed. Unfortunately, this is not a good location — as a single woman traveling alone, I was not able to safely move in and out the hotel. I forgot to read reviews before booking because I thought I recognized the area but the reviews are correct, I would truly not recommend this hotel, as much as I think the staff are trying their best.

I was told the entire hotel has only two (2) accessible rooms (I am mobility impaired). One was reportedly booked for the entire month, and the other eas allegedly occupied for two of the five days I planned to stay. I plan to file a detailed report with Baltimore’s civil rights division when I get home, and withe regional marketing manager. It is obvious that facility was once attractive and has fallen on hard times. I did appreciate easy access to waffles, cereals, cold milk, fresh fruit, tea and coffee. Staff were courteous, several time there no one at the desk. There was a horrendous shouting match among two, (maybe three) men) and a woman that went on way too long). I didn’t dare poke my head out of my 4th-floor door. I had to lose my temper to get a chair for the tub, as my balance is not reliable enough to stand without grab bars. I am 84 years old. I don’t lose my temper often. I am only 5’, and the mattress was too high for me to lie down; I had to scoot across on my butt the swing my legs up to get onto the bed. My $538 rate was at least affordable, but I would have paid $100 more for grab bars, a walk-in shower and a stepstool! There are enough rooms to set aside one accessible room on every floor. I would appreciate a reply. Thank you

Sketchy but comfy

The beds were comfy. The bathroom was a good size. But, the place itself was in a pretty sketchy part of downtown. Do your research.

Worst place to stay !! We check in, got to the room and 10 min after we leave because the smell of marijuana and smoke doesnt let us breath and our troat start hurt. The personal was very unfriendly. Never in my life go back or recomend it to nobody.

The hotel is pretty cool and clean staff are exceptionally great from receptionist to houseekeeping and even the cleaner. But on the outside the surrounding area is real bad qits dirty and a lot of junkies walking up and down the street..The hotel does keep its guest safe by using security doors which can only be opened by your room keys.so that unwanted people do not enter
Hopeton, 5-night trip

6/10 Good

Front desk service was amazing. Shower was bad. Either great water pressure but scalding-hot water or drippy water pressure and freezing cold. Air Conditioning was great. Honestly got what i expected for the price i paid.
2-night trip

6/10 Good

Clean, but wouldn’t not stay again

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is not in the safest part of town and the only parking is street parking. There is a garage down the street but they close gates at a certain time at night and it’s closed on Sunday, so that wasn’t an option for us. We skipped on the complimentary breakfast as the options, outside of possibly a waffle, weren’t great.
1-night trip

Terrible Conditions

It wasn’t good at all. The hotel is in an area surrounded by intoxicated people, homeless, and it’s loud and dirty. A man harassed me on my way in. The bedding had unidentifiable yellow stains and the room had a Smokey smell as if someone was smoking cigarettes before I arrived. The floor had a strange crunch to it and the shower drain was completely uncovered. If you dropped a ring or jewelry you would never get it back. The hotel staff was very nice and took security seriously considering the awful surrounding area. My door did not close all the way which posed a serious safety threat to me as a woman traveling alone. Overall the staff was very understanding but rhe hotel itself is not the best.
Anaiya, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

It wasnt great. From check in to the room, everything was just average. Pillows were ridiculously small and were more for a couch than a bed. Breakfast wasnt anything I'd wake up for again, very minimal selections. Stay elsewhere if you need a place in Downtown Baltimore
Tyler, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Not a safe area at all. Property looks nothing like the pictures.
Erica Renee, 3-night trip

Horrible place to stay. They have to have bugs !

The lady at the front desk was amazing. She was nice from checking in to check out. Now, the room was another story. Since we walked in the hotel building, it was disgusting. There was cigarette ashes on the counter where we checked in the floor was disgusting. We got into the elevator, got off on our floor on the fifth floor, the floor was gross. I felt like if I had white socks on you with my socks would be black. It smelled stuffy in the hallways, and there was marks all on the doors in the walls. Now, going into our room the door was extremely heavy to open up. As we walked in it smelt like a dead body was in this room. Floor was disgusting. Bathroom was nasty. Wouldn’t dare use the towels that were there. It just look like it was never cleaned. there was stains on the doors, stains, white stains, or white, milky substance on the counter by the phone and also by the ice bucket in the lamp. Floor was disgusting again, walked around in my shoes the entire time. Went to turn on the air conditioning, and there was hair and leaves inside the top of the vent. The AC did pump out good air, but it was disgusting. We slept on the top of our beds with a blanket of our own on top underneath of us because there were stains on the bed. I found a long piece of blonde hair several times in the room mind you me and my daughter have dark black hair. I would never stay here ever again. I will be letting everyone know. Do not stay here. There is no absolute help for this hotel, but to burn
kerry, 1-night trip

This hotel is not in a good area. All night we could hear people yelling and music playing from cars in the street. At 7am the Church across the street rings their bells. Our bathroom door did not have a way to actually close it. The breakfast options could also be better. Staff is really nice though.

One night stay

After viewing the hotel on the app the hotel looked like it was in good condition, but when I walked in it was total opposite. I booked a queen bed, but was told the queen rooms were in operable. So I was put in a double bed room. Nothing worked, the outlets in the bathroom did not work, the door lock did not lock, the iron stopped working after only using it for 5 minutes. I advised the front desk the worker told me you don’t need to worry about the lock because you need a key to enter the room. I know that but I like extra security while sleeping. Although I was given another room these things need to be fixed for the comfort of anyone staying. Besides that, it served its purpose. The bathroom was very clean so that was appreciated. Unfortunately, I will never stay here again. I guess you get what you pay for.
