The hotel is well-maintained and cleaned daily. Housekeeping provides fresh towels, replenishes toiletries, and restocks the minibar regularly. But The snack selection is limited to just three types, with no chocolate bars like other hotels offer.
The staff is excellent—friendly, kind, and provides great customer service.
The location feels a bit isolated, as it’s situated at the far end of a bushy area. Walking to the rooms is a long trek, making it feel somewhat lonely.
The gym and spa are great, but the hotel lacks enough dining options. There are only small coffee shops, and the selection of sweets is limited. Unlike other hotels with a variety of choices, this one falls short. The Mexican food is particularly disappointing. Satsi restaurant was a letdown—the Pad Thai and other noodle dishes we ordered were tasteless. We couldn’t even take a second bite. On the positive side, I loved the main pool! It was lively with music, food, and entertainment. The band, Cadianas (I believe it was two ladies), was amazing. We were looking for authentic Mexican music, and they delivered. However, real, local Mexican food was missing. Market 28 was bland and didn’t live up to expectations.
Overall Experience
I visited Cancun five years ago and stayed at a different hotel that was far more enjoyable. It had at least six restaurants, two coffee shops, two large candy bars, a dolphin show, and water sports—so much more to do! Would I stay here again? Probably not.
