Williamsburg is a historic city in Virginia that played a major role in the American Revolution and offers a living history museum as well as shopping, dining and adventure. In the early 18th century, this city was the capital of the Virginia Colony, and its historic heart lives today in Colonial Williamsburg, a living history museum where visitors can walk through a village populated by characters in period-accurate costume, peruse shops, eat and drink at pubs, and see life just as it was in Colonial times.
