Firm Consumer Complaint – English Review
This stay was overall very uncomfortable due to the hotel’s service operations and policy decisions.
The parking fee was explained as $28 per 8 hours, with a daily rate of $74. For a two-night stay (approximately 43 hours total, based on a 4:00 p.m. check-in and 11:00 a.m. check-out), the total parking charge amounted to $148. While this felt excessive relative to the actual length of stay, I initially tried to accept it given the hotel’s central downtown location.
However, the main issue was how parking access was effectively tied to early check-in. Our scheduled check-in time was 4:00 p.m., and we arrived at the hotel around 1:00 p.m. with a car. Parking is a separately charged service, and conditioning parking access on the purchase of early check-in is difficult to view as a reasonable policy. This was particularly hard to accept given that the hotel charges a full daily parking rate of $74 despite an actual stay of only about 43 hours.
In addition, the following morning at approximately 9:40 a.m., I attempted to use the gym facilities. Due to an access system issue, my key card was replaced three times, yet I was still unable to enter. I eventually returned to my room. About 40 minutes later, I received a call stating that the gym was now accessible; ho
