Coming from the fantastic Radisson Blu Resort at Anse Marcel, we wanted to also try this resort at Orient Bay, but what a disappointment, what a difference. The room was aweful, although large: no bathtub, just a shower which hardly worked and the last day there was no hot water at all, old cracky furnishings in the room, no style at all; safe-depost box was completely rusted away and almost impossible to open and close (with a key) located under the bathroom sink at floor-level; difficult to open/close/lock the main door to the apartment; a very muddy little driveway to the accommodation up a hill (although there had been no rain, may be some pipes had burst); breakfast very disappointing: you get just one small piece of baguette + one small croissant (no possibility to get some more), some aweful coffee, and yes there is a table containing somethings to put on your bread; small swimming pool; the place is not adjacent to the beach, Orient Bay beach was aweful anyway, lots of people crowding on chairs side-to-side on this windy beach, no comparison with the beautiful and tranquil Anse Marcel bay & beach; Wifi-internet works only in the reception and is still erratic and sometimes not-connected; the only good thing about this place was a very well cooked good quality evening dinner (in the area around the swimming pool).
