DON'T STAY HERE, POOR CLEANING, RUDE STAFF
During my recent stay, I encountered several service issues, culminating in an unacceptable interaction with the front desk staff.
Upon my late arrival, the Wi-Fi information was not provided with my keycard (not a big issue). Due to my fatigue at the time, I did not immediately pursue obtaining it. Concurrently, I inquired about a late checkout and was instructed to follow up with the front desk the next morning.
The following morning, I contacted the front desk to request a late checkout, explaining it was necessary due to my schedule. The male staff member I spoke with flatly denied the request, stating late checkouts were not offered. When I politely inquired about the reason for this policy, noting its availability at most other hotels, his response was highly inappropriate and unprofessional.
He reiterated the 11:00 AM checkout time, mentioned a 30-minute grace period, and then threatened to call the police if I had not vacated the room by that time. He explicitly said, "I don't think you want that to happen."
I must emphasize that I was not arguing, nor did I express any intention of refusing to leave. I was simply asking for clarification on the hotel's policy. Threatening a guest with police involvement under these circumstances is completely unwarranted, unprofessional, and created a hostile atmosphere. This level of customer service is unacceptable.
