This place is neither good nor bad, just okay. The location is convenient (it's next to quite a few good restaurants, right inside the city center), and there's free parking for guests. The room itself was clean and modern, but very minimal. You just get a bed and a tv; no closet, drawers, cups for water or any other convenience you normally get in a hotel. Our bathroom was private, but it wasn't en suite, so we had to go down the hall to use it. The wifi was spotty, but generally worked well enough to do the most important things. The room got quite loud in the evening because of the bar's radio, but it always quieted down before bedtime. The staff were friendly and helpful. All in all, this place is an okay option if you're just staying in Launceston for a couple nights, and if you're on a budget. Otherwise, you should probably upgrade.
