Highly recommended!
Santorini Heights is a wonderful new boutique style hotel with a great view over the island and sea. All 4 apartments have a private terrace including a pool and are super nicely decorated with an eye for quality and details. The beds are very comfortable, you can pick your own type of pillow, there is a nespresso coffee machine, the toiletries are from a local and natural brand, etc. On top of this the staff is super friendly, the room was very clean, the homemade breakfast was amazing and they were very helpful with tips and booking tours and activities.
The hotel is located a bit off the beaten track, but we would prefer this location over a hotel in the touristy Oia any day. A few of the best restaurants on the islands are located in the nearby picturesque villages of Pyrgos, Megalochori and Exo Gonia.
Personally we also really liked that the hotel and surrounding gardens have been designed with attention to the beautiful nature of the island. All building materials are local, the plants in the garden are indigenous to the island and the villa has solar panels and cisterns for rain water collection.
All in all we couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Many, many thanks to all the people from Santorini Heights for making our stay in Santorini absolutely perfect.
