We walked accidentaly into Bulgarian workers (couldn’t speak English) who found the security guy who was able to arrange the key. And that all in pouring rain with 2 little kids. 'We stayed at 6 different places during our Iceland trip, and this was our favorite! The room was clean and spacious. Nice blackout curtains. The kitchen was small but functional. The "strange guy" chef offered delicious cakes for the guests, and there was also an option to dine in. We opted to bring our own food, but the dinner prepared at the guesthouse smelled so good! Breakfast was great too!

'Loved the location of the cottages. So nice to sit on the couch and see a 180 view of the serene grounds. If there is more than 2 people, I would recommend getting 2 cabins. The bathroom is so petite and the upstairs small with steep stairs, I could not imagine more than 2 people in these cabins. That said though, they are really a fun place to stay. '

'We loved our stay in a glamping tent here. It was the perfect chill out between hiking the laugavegur and fimmvorduhals trails. The little sauna is great after hiking, the staff were so helpful and the trails in the area are fantastic. Walk the orange trail, the glacier views are amazing! '
