All damage from the December 2023 “extreme rain event” have been repaired. Don’t hesitate to book. You can have breakfast and dinner at the hotel cafe. Otherwise, there are very limited restaurant options, and no markets nearby, so stock up before you get on the ferry, either at Mossman or Port Douglas....

"De kamers waren uitstekend. Heel ruim en netjes en een nette en nieuwe badkamer. Het in- en uitchecken verliep erg onpersoonlijk. De sleutels zaten al in de deur toen we aankwamen. Daar kwamen we pas achter toen we na een aantal keer bellen eindelijk contact met iemand kregen want er was niemand meer bij de receptie. En bij vertrek moesten we de sleutels gewoon in een bak doen. Dat was jammer maar het verblijf was prima. "
