'We had a lovely big airy room on a high floor with a balcony overlooking the pool and the bay. The bed in our room was lovely and comfortable. Surface cleaning was good but the corners and windows were in dire need of a good clean. Nice pool area with sunbeds. Nice shady areas between the trees around the edge of the bay. Pedalos and canoes were available at no charge depending on the tide. The restaurant had a good selection for breakfasts and evening meals. It was nice to see and indulge in...

'Where to start? Alain & Marie were excellent answering all questions before our arrival organising including airport transfers and hire car (essential to get round). The villa is amazing, very clean, and has a very peaceful energy which a great reflection on the owners. The views of the ocean are something to behold l swear. 'Cocotiers is een mooi kleinschalig hotel, personeel heel aardig, goede bedden. Beveiliging over het hele complex, omdat het nodig is vooral na zonsondergang. Er word dan ook aangeraden om niet de straat op te gaan muv een taxi. In de buurt is niets te doen, dat is jammer, maar naar een ander restaurant met de taxi is goed te doen. Ook met de bus naar Port Louis was prima! Zo kom je onder de bevolking. Een positieve verbetering zou zijn, dat er geen honden op het hotel terrein en strand worden...

'dit hotel zou een echt pareltje kunnen zijn, maar dan moet er wel ander management en (voor en groot deel) ander personeel moeten komen. De locatie is fantastisch, direct aan zee (helaas geen strand) en met een prachtig uitzicht vanaf het balkon van de kamer. Het eten kan stukken beter maar gezien de prijs van halfpension mag je daar niet echt over klagen. Hoofdzaak is achterstallig onderhoud, verwaarlozing van diverse zaken, enz. Al met al een prima hotel als er een forse chirurgische ingreep...

'Beloofde Palmiste standaard kamer bleek een kamer zonder palmenuitzicht in een modern gebouw wat verderop grenzend aan een hoofdweg - weliswaar een comfortabele kamer maar helaas zonder de charme van het hoofdgebouw. Gaan ontbijten hield een wandelingetje langs de drukke weg in. Liever geen beloftes meer Palmiste!'

'We (couple with 6 year old daughter) had a great time at the small scale, quiet and relaxed Residence Villas. We had a two bedroom apartment which was very spacious and had a terrace with pool view (all apartments have an outside area and face the pool). The garden and pool area are partly in the shade, which is nice since it can get very hot. We enjoyed the massages at the nice in-house spa. The beautiful and quiet Mont Choisy beach is very nearby, just a short walk. The local busses stop...
